Tijarat Services Overview — Marketplace, POS, Delivery & Khata

Pakistani bakery, pharmacy, kiryana and hardware stores on Tijarat

تجارت کی تمام سروسز — ایک پلیٹ فارم، پوری دکان

Tijarat (تجارت) is a single platform that runs the daily life of a Pakistani retail business: selling online, selling over the counter, keeping the credit register, and getting orders delivered. This guide walks through each service and who it is for.

1. The Online Marketplace

Customers open the Tijarat marketplace, pick their city, and browse verified neighborhood shops — kiryana stores, dairy shops, spice merchants and wholesale suppliers. Every shop has its own public page with live counter prices, packaging options and payment methods. Orders can be placed with an account (Cash on Delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer with payment-proof upload) or sent directly to the shop on WhatsApp.

2. Multi-Unit Web POS Software

Every vendor gets a browser-based point of sale — no hardware, no installation. The POS understands Pakistani packaging reality: buy rice by the bag, sell it by the KG or by the gram; buy medicine by the carton, sell by the box, strip or single tablet. Stock is tracked in one atomic base unit, so a 250-gram loose sale and a full-bag wholesale sale always deduct from the same truthful count. Read the deep dive in our POS guide for kiryana stores.

3. Delivery Rider Network

After a shop accepts an order, a nearby rider is assigned from the live radar. Riders set their own service radius on the map, claim open jobs, and complete every pickup and handover with a one-time OTP code — so the shop, the rider and the customer all share one verified timeline. Multi-shop orders follow a multi-stop route with a transparent per-stop surcharge. Riders can also be booked for standalone A→B parcel runs. See how the rider network works.

4. Digital Udaar Khata (Credit Ledger)

The paper khata register is the heart of a neighborhood shop — and its biggest risk. Tijarat's khata ledger records credit sales and repayments per customer with a running balance, so "kitna dena hai?" always has one answer both sides trust. Learn the full workflow in the udaar khata digitization guide.

5. Sales Agent Program

Sales agents earn commission by onboarding new merchants. Each agent gets a referral code and a portal showing onboarded shops, earned commission and payout balance — a straightforward way to grow local commerce and income together.

Who runs the platform?

A platform owner manages city geofencing, delivery tariffs, feature flags, subscription packages and KYC verification from a dedicated admin panel — keeping the marketplace safe, priced fairly and switched on city by city.
